Little River Campground, formerly Birdlands has something for everyone.
Big enough to lose yourself in, but small enough for
intimate gatherings. Click on the map for a close look. We have had some flood damage on 5 March. We are open but some tracks and cabins are unaccessible.
A peaceful riverside camp with the lush beauty of the West Coast yet less than an hour from Christchurch makes this the perfect venue for your special occasion.
Ideal for holidays, weddings, retreats, parties, birthdays and with the
advantage of affordable accommodation. Plan a romantic getaway in one of our cute cabins or have a camping holiday with your family.
Nostalgic Camping is what we call it. A bit rough and ready, back to basics like camping use to be- relaxed and unpretentious. (The toilets are dry loo long drops, part of trying to be eco!) Kids playing on the trampoline or in the river, exploring and being adventurous while you sit back and relax knowing they are safe and enjoying themselves. We do not belong to a chain of holiday parks, preferring to be ‘Unique Boutique’.
